Welcome to Kittie’s Korner. Today I have a Christmas project to share with you pairing the Rubbernecker May You Have sentiment with the new Spellbinder Layered Poinsettia die set. I just got the die set this week and couldn’t wait to play with it.
I used the smaller dies for this project as I wanted to create a floral spray that would fit well on the matted frame. I created dimension on the flowers by rolling a stylus over the back of each petal while laying on a mouse pad. I sponged cranberry ink on to add a little depth and attached the layers with Glossy Accents. I used my 1/8” circle punch to make the little yellow center of the flowers and added yellow Stickles for sparkle. I created three small pine cones using caramel cardstock and layered small oval scalloped die cuts. I cut down between each scallop and lightly distressed using the stylus on the mouse pad. Each cone has three layers and I sponged with brown ink to add depth. I curled the edges of the cut scallops with needle nose pliers. I created the floral spray using Martha Stewart Pine Branch and Holly punches.
This is a little closer view so you can see the pinecones and flower. Here are a couple more views.
I am giving a Spellbinder Layered Poinsettia die set away for blog candy on my blog post at Kittie Kraft. Check it out if you would like a chance to win. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will come back next week. I have a feeling there will be lots more Christmas projects ahead.

Hmmmm....not sure what happened to the comment I posted yesterday, so I'll try, again!
This is sooooo beautiful, Kittie! Your attention to detail in your floral arrangements is magnificent. I squealed with delight when I read how you created your cute pinecones! I must admit that you are an enabler; I find myself wanting that holly punch!!

Such a beautiful creation. I think it should be framed and used as art!
