Hey friends!! How are you tonight? I hope you all are FABULOUS!! I have a creation to share, from our last Stamp show!! We were at the Heirloom show in York,Pa? It was SO nice to see all of you!! Thank you SO much for stopping by to say hello!! If you were there, then I am sure you remember this............
If not? Hope you like!! I have to say that I am TOTALLY surprised with myself, for THIS? This is SO not my thing!! I am scene challenged!! Ha! I am the coloring girl! AND.......for this? NO coloring!!! Ok, maybe I snuck in the tree trunk and fence!! BUT, let's face it.......no SERIOUS coloring!! Haha!! I used Distress Inks, a handmade cloud template (made from scallop ovals stapled together,AWESOME), an Inksentials sponging tool, and KITTIE KITS of course!! I used the NEW Kittie Kit Cause a Scene FALL HARVEST and the Kittie Kit Cause a Scene Out Door Master!! Woohoo! YAY me!! I LOVE how it turned out! I will DEF have to do more of these SCENE thingys!! Haha!! A BIG thank you to Kittie, for coming up with these!! Hey, I think we should do a HOP with these!! Hmmmm.........sounds like a plan; will need to work on that!! They are AWESOME!! I live in the Phoenix area. Yeah, that’s right. The forecast for this week is back to 100 degrees! Are you kidding me? NOOOOOOOOO! I can’t stop it, so I decided to break out some winter – at least in my stamp room.
This is a winter image from Rubbernecker called Zac. Cute, huh? I couldn’t capture all the shimmery glittery snow, so trust me that it is there. First I created the panels of designer paper and glued them to the front of the white card. Next I embossed it with the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder. Zac is stamped onto white card stock using Rich Cocoa memento ink and colored with Copic markers. I added the striped dp punched out snowflake on top of a bright blue snowflake and a red center, then I added glittery snow with Icicles Stickles and even added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top of that. Oh yeah baby, let it snow! Why doesn’t it snow when it’s 100 degrees? We would really appreciate it much more, don’t you think?

I remember as a kid how much I loved to lay down in the grass on a lazy summer day, look up to the sky, dream about the hopes for the future, and watch what we called "puff balls" float up into the air. We use to run around, catch them, and make wishes upon them. Those puff balls were actually the seed heads of dandelions, and dandelions are what I have to share with you today.
I used an emboss resist with a hint of color technique for my dandelions. I stamped the images with Versamark, heat embossed them with clear detail embossing powder, and then took a Copic marker and colored in the dandelion centers. I used Weathered Wood distress ink for the sponging on the oval panel. I chose to use the divine swirls embossing folder because it kind of reminds me of clouds. I inked up my embossing folder with Weathered Wood to highlight the raised white better. Here's a closer view of the colored images.

This is Kecia Waters. I am very excited and honored to be sharing my very first "Tuesdays with the Team" blog post.
Having just celebrated a birthday a couple days ago, I can't stop looking at the way Edna is looking here and wondering if I'm headed in her direction, sooner rather than later, LOL! I know I definitely feel the way she looks in the mornings.
I made this card using the Rubbernecker Stamp "Edna's Morning" (SKU 562-06), from the Rubbernecker Old Character line. I stamped the image onto Neenah Classic Crest Cardstock with Marvy black dye ink. I paper pieced Edna's robe and socks with patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs, shaded with Prismacolor pencils and ColourSoft pencils. Her fuzzy slippers were created using FlowerSoft Polar White. I colored the rest of the image with Copic markers, and drew in the floor and walls. The image is then mounted onto a panels of white cardstock, and patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs and Lasting Impressions. Some of the panels are paper pierced.
The sentiment is also from Rubbernecker. It is called "bad as I look" (SKU 563-04).
A brass circle clip and sheer white ribbon put the finishing touches onto this card.

Welcome to Kittie’s Korner. I love making snowy scenes and especially for my holiday cards. Today I’m sharing an old fashioned country Christmas card using the truck from Kittie Kits Fall Harvest accompanied by a tree from the Evergreen Tree set.
I stamped the truck image twice on scrap watercolor paper, painted and cut out. I cut the wheels off the top layer of the truck and layered it over the wheels of the second layer to give dimension. I cut a slit along the top bed of the truck and inserted three cut Christmas trees. The little sign on the back of the truck was handwritten. I painted white craft ink around on the truck to create the look of built up snow and embossed with white embossing powder. I inked the tree image and spritzed with water before stamping on watercolor paper. I repeated this step all the way across the main layer to create the forest of Christmas trees. I sponged in the sky using a hand cut scalloped cloud template to create the sky and sponged in brown on the ground area. I finished the main layer by painting white craft ink around the base of the trees and along the roadside. I attached the truck to the scene with rolled up glue dots and then applied Glossy Accents around the ground area and on the truck and applied Polar White Flower Soft for the appearance of soft snow. OK since I was short on time and I already had a card share with you earlier this week, I thought I would make this short and sweet!! That and I hadn't had a chance to work with our NEW Cat set!! Have you seen it? SUPER cute!!
Whatcha' think? You can makes LOTS of clean and simple creations with this set, for sure!! Here is what I made!! I layered my Raspberry Fizz cardstock onto Kraft and then stamped my Kitties on there with Raspberry Fizz ink, from Papertrey Ink! After they were in place I added a sentiment with Walnut Stain Distress ink!! AND, what would a clean and simple be without TWINE!! Well, of course!! I finished my card with Pink Sorbet baker's twine from The Twinery!! Voila!! Complete!! Hope you like!! I also, hope to see you this weekend!! I tried to create an eerie background for this great new stamp from Rubbernecker called Birds in Trees.
First I stamped the image onto the purple cardstock using black ink, then airbrushed using several colors of Copic markers to get the eerie look I wanted. I inked just a portion of the sentiment stamp with purple and black markers before stamping onto the vellum. I tore the edges and adhered it by wrapping the ends to the back and gluing them there. The purple scene is matted with the green card stock to continue the eerie/Halloween feel of the card. What do you think? Does it look eerie???????

Welcome to another Wednesday's Worktable! I'm so glad you were able to stop by to see what I have to share with you this week.
I love a lot of the Rubbernecker stamps, but I must admit that the Fall Trilogy Set is one of my favorites. It is so versatile that I thought I'd show you how I used it for a few techniques, as well as for creating my own designer paper! Remember, you can always click on the photo for a larger/closer view.
The first technique I started with was faux silk for the larger background panel. I stamped the image directly onto tissue paper, wadded it up, smoothed it back out, and adhered it to white cardstock with a glue stick. Here's a close-up photo so you can better see the faux silk texture.
The next way I used this very same image was double embossing on the far right panel. Again, I stamped the image onto white cardstock, embossed it with my square lattice embossing folder, and sponged Brushed Corduroy and Pesto inks over the texture of the embossing. You can also see this in the above close-up photo.
The third technique I employed was faux linen. Starting with a 1 1/4" x 4" piece of glossy white cardstock, I worked my sanding block both vertically and horizontally over it. I then applied the Brushed Corduroy and Pesto inks with an ink blending tool. In this next close-up photo, you can see how the inks absorb into the sanded portions.
I then stamped the image onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with Old Olive and Always Artichoke Inks, fussy cut it, and applied to the card base with dimensionals.
My finishing touches were to add some copper cord behind a brown button and a flourished piece of Tim Holtz Grungeboard that I colored with the Brushed Corduroy ink and sprayed with Copper Glimmer mist.
I normally photograph my cards in a little area set up with flourescent desk lamps in my stamp room. However, for today's creation, I took advantage of a beautiful natural daylight of sunshine to better show you the textures of the faux silk and double embossed panels.

Hey there all! Happy Tuesday to you! You know, it is that time of year again! When you start thinking of what you will do for your Christmas cards? Since that time is upon us, I thought I would share an easy to reproduce option with you!! We all know how it can be, when we have LOTS to create and NOT a lot of time!!
I chose 3 cute trees from the CHRISTMAS TREE SET and mounted them all together on my acrylic block. I LOVE this set!! SO many different trees to use!! I stamped the upper half of the trees with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and the lower half with the Peeled Paint Distress Ink. I then added some Crystal Stickles for some added sparkle! After this was dry, I mounted it on Scarlet Jewel cardstock. I combined this with pieces of layered Basic Grey/Scarlet Jewel;then finished it with Pewter Kaisekraft pearls and silver organdy ribbon!
