Happy Wednesday, Rubbernecker friends! 

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just right around the corner?  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, not just for all the scrumptious food, but also to reflect on all that I have been blessed with in my life and  a reminder to not take it for granted.   Like many of you, we will gather with family over a Thanksgiving feast to celebrate this day, and I'm looking forward to pumpkin pie!  Speaking of pumpkins, I have a great pumpkin image to share with you in my design today.

I stamped my pumpkin image with copper metallic ink onto kraft cardstock and then heat embossed it with copper embossing powder.  I then watercolored the image with Stampin' Up inks (more mustard, pumpkin pie, creamy caramel, and garden green) and cut it out.  I love to pop up my images whenever I can for added dimension.  I also heat embossed with copper embossing powder the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment and the wheat border image to the right.  I used Stampin' Up's pumpkin pie and chocolate chip cardstock, as well as some autumn designer paper from a DCWV fall stack.

Hello everyone....Joan here with this weeks Tuesday with the Team post!!! I have been making lots of Christmas cards lately and thought I would share a couple with you.

The first card is a clean and simple design that features the cute little Rubbernecker Mitten Set Large #53-04....it was stamped on patterned paper, partially colored with a green Copic, cutout, and popped up with pop dots. The twine was attached to the back side and the Stamp Oasis sentiment #1205 SO called Scroll Holiday was stamped with Rich Cocoa. The green pearls and scalloped edge finish it off.

Accessories: Twine, Scalloped edge die, Copics, Green Pearls

My second card has a lot more going on....the background paper was sewn and distressed around the edges. The KK Originals Birch Forest #SKU: 66-01 KK was stamped on white cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa, cutout with a round Nestabilities, mounted on a Spellbinder’s diecut, and popped up with pop dots. The bird was cut with a Stampin Up! Die and the leaves were punched with Martha Stewart Punches. The twine and button are the finishing touches.

Kittie's Korner- Holiday Greetings

Welcome to Kittie’s Corner. I have a fun winter holiday project to share with you today using the stair step fold. Rubbernecker’s Blake is the friendly snowman featured in this snowy tree filled scene. I think he is so cute. The sign of the image comes empty and I filled it with the sentiment Holiday Greetings. I thought it was perfect since Blake is waving.

I created the stair step card layout by following the measurements supplied on the stair step fold tutorial found at Splitcoaststampers resource page. Blake was stamped on watercolor paper with black versafine, embossed with clear embossing powder and then painted with reinkers. The fence and large crimped trees are both made from Papertrey dies. The small crimped trees and the star were punched using Marvy’s multi image holiday punch. I cut all the snowy layers using deckle scissors and attached them on each step. The trees and snowman were tucked in behind the layers. I added the little pine sprigs and bows to the fence and added a few little Papertrey die cut cardinals for the finishing touches. Karen’s Korner–Happy Thanksgiving

I just love this tree image. I inked it with Walnut Stain, Rusty Hinge and Barn Door inks before stamping onto the Ruby Red card front. I then clear embossed it. I then stamped the sentiment using Barn Door ink and clear embossed it. I added a brown border all around the card front using a Copic marker and then added just a touch of gingham ribbon with a button as embellishment.

Wednesday's Worktable with Charlene

It's hard to believe November is here already!!  Fall, my favorite season, is passing by so quickly.   I love the vibrant colors and the smell of the fallen leaves.  Here's a fall card I made using my favorite Rubbernecker leaf image, and one of my favorite ways to color leaf images is with the polished stone technique.

I dropped several colors of reinkers (Adirondack Alcohol Inks in Lettuce, Butterscotch, Hazelnut, Cranberry, and Copper Mixative) onto glossy cardstock, stamped the leaves with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, cut them out, and adhered them with dimensionals.

You can see that I stamped the grid background on the base of the River Rock cardstock.  I used a paper crimper for the narrow panel on the left and my houndstooth embossing folder for the one on the right for different texture.  After I stamped the sentiment, I sponged butterscotch, wild honey, and vintage photo inks around it.
